About AVHA

Abingdon Village Homes Association is located in the Centerville District of Virginia Beach, Virginia.  Our Association was founded on June 28, 1968, when the land was sold from Coleman Farms, Inc. to a local developer.  The Association was known first as College Park First Homes Association, until the name was changed on April 23, 1971, to Abingdon Village Homes Association.  Here is a bit of history of the neighborhood.

Our Association is composed of 266 homes, most of which were built shortly after the Association was formed.  It also features a clubhouse, pool, and a tennis court.  Additionally, there are two and a half miles of walking paths throughout the Association.

Our community is diverse.  It includes young families and seniors, veterans and active duty service members, and individuals working in a variety of careers.
